Cuneocronaca.it

Cuneocronaca.it is an online news outlet covering Cuneo and its province, with the motto "what happens, when it happens." The site was born at the historic headquarters of Radio Stereo 5 in piazza Europa in Cuneo, on the initiative of Claudio Dutto, the station's founder, publisher and on-air voice, and is remembered as one of the first local news websites in the Cuneo area [1]. Dutto died on 17 February 2020 at the age of 64 [1].

Radio Stereo 5, to which the outlet traces its roots, is a Cuneo-based station founded in 1975, which from 1997 set up a news service with local bulletins for the province's different areas [2]. The site's publishing company, cuneocronaca.it S.a.s., is based in piazza Europa in Cuneo [3].

The paper has been active since at least the early 2010s: in November 2014 the Province of Cuneo entrusted Cuneocronaca.it with publishing a promotional banner for the youth project "ALP – Campus Giovani" on its home page, a sign of the site's role in local communication [4]. Its news covers current affairs, politics, culture, sport and events in Cuneo and the towns of its province. In the Torino Top 100 ranking for September 2026, the site ranks among the top 50,000 most visited websites in Italy according to Google's Chrome UX Report.
