2026 members' assembly of Ivrea Soccorso

The members' assembly of Ivrea Soccorso, a volunteer association active in Ivrea, renewed its governing bodies for a new three-year term in 2026. The assembly elected as a single slate the team standing for the Board of Directors, confirming the continuity of the path the association had already taken, and also renewed the Board of Auditors and the Board of Arbitrators.[1][2]

Positions

At its first meeting, the new Board of Directors assigned internal roles: Massimiliano De Stefano was reconfirmed as president, Daniele Barbato was appointed vice-president, Andrea Pugliese secretary, Ombretta Ferioli treasurer and Immacolata Cosentino board member.[1][2] The Board of Auditors is made up of Cristina Bianchini, Stefano Barba and Paolo Germano, while the Board of Arbitrators comprises Laura Andreo, Eugenio Abellonio and Martina Monteu Saulat.[1][2]

The programme for young people

Among the goals of the new term is strengthening ties with younger generations, with the intention of formally structuring an internal Youth Group, giving more room, autonomy and responsibility to the young people already involved and creating opportunities to bring in others to volunteering.[1][2] President De Stefano pointed to the Anpas Open Day on 24 October as a first step on this new path, aimed in particular at fifth-year students of the area's secondary schools, to introduce them to first-aid culture and to volunteering.[1][2] According to the association, about thirty young people currently gravitate around Ivrea Soccorso, a number it intends to grow through closer ties with schools.[1][2]
