The domain lam.to.it belonged in 2001 to L.A.M. - Lavorazioni Attrezzature Meccaniche, a mechanical-engineering firm active, according to its site, for over 35 years.¹

The same address later passed to the /LAM design studio, based in Turin and active in interior design and architecture: among the projects shown on the site, recorded by the web archive from 2014, were renovations of homes and shops in Turin, an installation for the Operæ design festival, and a project for the Grand Hôtel Du Niger in Niamey.²³

The domain's TLS certificates were issued only between May and September 2018; the name is not registered today in the .it registry.⁴
